In the first quarter of 2021, Australia's dining and restaurant app scene on iOS saw varying performances among the top apps. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a snapshot of how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users.

MyMacca's, McDonald’s Australia Limited's app, experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting with approximately 17K in the last week of December 2020 and peaking at over 21K in mid-February. Weekly active users saw a general upward trend, beginning with 264K and reaching over 308K by the end of March.

KFC - Order On The Go, from KFC Australia, also showed variability in downloads, with a notable spike to around 19K in late February. Active users numbered around 148K at the end of December, rising to a peak of approximately 169K in late February before declining to about 147K by the end of March.

Domino's saw its download numbers begin at roughly 10K in the final week of December 2020, with slight ups and downs, ending the quarter with about 9K downloads. The weekly active users hovered around 46K to 49K throughout the quarter.

For Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering, downloads started at approximately 9K and showed growth towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 9K again in the final week of March. Active users showed a slight increase from around 89K to over 92K during the quarter.

Lastly, Boost Juice by Retail Zoo had a download count starting at about 5K and experiencing a mid-quarter dip before ending slightly lower at around 4K. Active users remained fairly stable, with a slight increase from 17K at the beginning of the period to over 18K by the first week of March, followed by a dip to approximately 16K towards the end of the quarter.
